Can you believe there was internet traffic at the library today? So, I had to post here from home!! LOL :)

We've got a busy weekend around here...again... Last weekend was spent mostly at church singing for me, running the sound booth for Steve (he had to be there more often than I did because he had to run sound for all the other praise teams there from other churches...no, it wasn't PraiseFest...we hosted a little conference)...

And, this weekend will also be spent mainly at church. This weekend is the church's annual craft bazaar, and I will (hopefully) be there personalizing ornaments again this year. I still need to get to Hobby Lobby & get my ornaments, but I normally paint them all there that weekend. I won't be there as long each day this year, but I'll still be there a good chunk of time collectively :)

I feel like I haven't had any time to breathe this week. We've been so on the move, at least that's what it's felt like. I guess we didn't go anywhere Tues. or Wed., but it sure has felt like a pretty busy week. I feel as if I'm constantly in motion all the time...

And then Sara comes to mind, and I think to myself, "Stop whining!!" Praying for you, Sara...

So, seeing as I'm rambling on & on about nothing (that tends to happen the later in the evening I get here), I will say goodnight, Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas!! :) (Yes, you read correctly!! LOL)

Again, at the library...

Ahhh, let me tell you how nice it is to sit down today. You'd think that having to be here at the library at 1p.m. would be easier than in the morning...but that is NOT how it usually is...

Especially not this morning!!

Abbey woke up at 6:30a.m. this morning (her usual is 8:30/9a.m., just so you have an idea of HOW early this was for us...) Anyways, the House Fairy came to visit, and after she saw that, forget going back to sleep!! Then, about 6:45a.m. Eli woke up, too, so they were both up before dawn this morning. WooHoo...

They are my little blessings, though, and I am so thankful for them. I couldn't stay aggrivated at them this morning, they were both being so adorable & loving.

Abbey has been acting like a different kiddo the last couple of days... In a good way! LOL

Let me recap our Halloween week...

She was a monster! As I was telling Mom & Chelle & Jodi & Missy, it was just a series of behaviour & it was getting worse, so we had to do something drastic. One of her misdemeanors was that she was hiding crayons, markers, & pens in her room & writing on the walls, armoir & CARPET (how you write on carpet with a crayon, I'll never figure out!). So, after that, AND after her lying & sneaking & some major disobedience, Trick-or-Treat was taken away from her. AND, she didn't even get to hand out candy, because of how she behaved on the day of TorT. So, while I answered the door to cute ToTers, she was in her room with a magic eraser cleaning off her walls, armoir & carpet.

I cannot tell you how badly I felt. I think it really was harder for me than for her, and now I understand why my Dad would tell me that before he spanked me!! LOL You know, the whole, "This is harder for me than it is for you..." speach. Anyways, I did dress Eli up as Charlie Brown!! STINKIN CUTE!! :) I'll post a picture. Oh, and Abbey DID get to dress up in her princess costume on the Monday before ToT, because they let them do that for their dance class. So, she wasn't totally out of the fun!! LOL :) Oh, and I took Eli to my Mom's for TorT, because I wanted to see Katie (she was Minnie Mouse...CUTE!!), and I wanted them to see "Chuck." I left there with a Santa's Toy Bag sized trashbag full of candy & other goodies... So, she really didn't miss a whole lot, just the "experience" of TorT...

That was the saga of Halloween this year...

But she has behaved MUCH better since, so thank goodness it was worth it!! :)

For example, yesterday morning I told her that after {fill in TV show} that it was time to turn off the TV for a while. Well, I got busy, and checked my email for a few minutes, then heard the TV go off, and Abbey walked into my bedroom. I was in disbelief!! I told her I was so proud of her!! And I was!! You maybe don't know what a big step that was for us!! To not have to re-ask her to do something...Amazing...

But that's not all...A little after lunch she asked me, "Mommy, is it nap time?" I said, "Yes, why don't you go ahead & go potty, then go lay down..." And, oh my goodness, she DID IT... She laid right down on her bed (after she put her imaginary friend Ladu down in the floor, of course), and went to sleep without a fight!! I'm telling you, I was beyond flabergasted...

SO, today's been good, too... Actually, it's been a good week so far...

Okay, I'd better go. I'm gonna look for a few more Thanksgiving books before we leave...

Ya know, I just counted up all my blog entrees this year...I've blogged less than 30 times this year!! Wow, that is sad!! LOL :) Or, a good thing?
